T.R.A.I.N.

T.R.A.I.N (Teens Resisting Abuse and Initiating Non-violence) is a program that has provided training to teens in Juneau about domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, and conflict resolution. 

What can T.R.A.I.N do for you?

T.R.A.I.Ning

January 28 thru April 28th

5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

T.R.A.I.N offers a 40-hour training at AWARE to empower teens through knowledge, advocacy and resources.  This program is co-facilitated by T.R.A.I.N teens (who have gone through the training).

 

T.R.A.I.N Transitions

T.R.A.I.N Transitions provides peer education classes in middle/high schools by trained teen advocates.  Classes include: health relationships, gender stereotyping, dating violence and more.  Interested adults or teacher's can call Ati Nasiah at 586-6623.

 

Traveling T.R.A.I.N

Rural and Community Outreach

T.R.A.I.N will be traveling to rural communities to provide grade K-12 personal safety lessons and an after-school T.R.A.I.N class for teens in the community.
