2012 Women of Distinction Banquet & Silent Auction Information

We are delighted to inform you that Amy Dressel, Sharron Lobaugh, Joan O'Keefe and Megan Gregory have been selected by the AWARE Board of Directors as the 2012 Women of Distinction!  These four women will be honored by AWARE and the Juneau community at our 16th Annual Women of Distinction Banquet and Silent Auction on Saturday, March 3, 2012. This gala event celebrates the accomplishments of four Juneau women who through their actions, have made a difference for women and children in Juneau.   

All proceeds from the celebration will go to support AWARE’s mission—to provide safe shelter and supportive services for women and children who have been subjected to domestic or sexual violence, and to effect social, political and legal changes needed to eliminate oppression and violence against women and children.
